This week's best beauty Instagrams were all about the lips. For Adwoa Aboah, a cherried pout played best with a swath of silk, the printed headscarf offering her signature buzz cut and ample freckles a wash of retro-cool glamour. Liv Tyler’s application of pink left its mark on her glass of champagne, while Emily Ratajkowksi reached for a coat of coral, the buoyant hue seeping seamlessly onto her cheeks. And for Debi Mazar, the only thing more classic than a swipe of crimson color was a politically minded accessory in the form of an ‘I Voted’ button that heralded the run up to the midterm elections.

Outside of lip lines, Camille Rowe soaked up some sun—and made the case for a single, insouciant braid. And those who miss the back-to-school energy of fall need only look to choreographer D-trix (aka Dominic Sandoval)’s feed: a soon-to-be viral dance inspired by High School Musical is enough to make anyone want to catapult weightlessly down the hall—or maybe just enroll in a supercharged cardio-hip hop class.
